Symbiosis College pune

Established in 1983, Symbiosis College of Arts And Commerce is now twenty six years old. It is a very short period in the life of a College but here is a college making humble claims about tall orders, presenting low profiles of heights of achievements and building a positive reputation about its content rather than the expression. This college is affiliated to University of Pune and is a member of the Symbiosis Family where student is at the center of all activities and endowers and quality and excellence are the guiding principles. The Symbiosis International Cultural and Education Center was founded in 1971 by Dr. S.B Mujumdar, President and Founder Director.
This College is affiliated to University of Pune, will get the autonomous status shortly. Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce currently provides following courses.
* B.A. - specialization in English or Economics
* B.Com.
* B.Sc. in Computer Science
* Diploma and certification courses under Symbiosis Centre of Liberal Arts -an initiative of this College.

The University of Pune is one of India's premier universities. It was established on February 10, 1949. It is spread over a comprehensive 400 acre (1.6 km²) campus and is home to 46 academic departments. It is also known as the 'Oxford of the East'. In 1949, there were only 18 colleges affiliated to the university, with an enrollment of over 8000 students.
